Meruyert Kabdyrashitkyzy Sisembayeva - Head of the Department for Work with Insolvent Debtors at the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan

She has held this position since January 2024. Meruyert has been working in the field of insolvency and bankruptcy since 2010.

She actively participated in the legislative process concerning the bankruptcy of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs. She was one of the developers of the Law “On the Restoration of Solvency and Bankruptcy of Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”

Meruyert holds higher education degrees in ecology and law, as well as a master’s degree in Accounting and Auditing.

She was born in the city of Zaysan, East Kazakhstan Region, and currently resides in Astana. She is married and is raising a daughter and two sons.
