Jelena Todic - Director of the Centre for Supervision and Insolvency Profession Development, Bankruptcy Supervision Agency of the Republic of Serbia
Jelena Todic has been the Director of the Centre for Supervision and Insolvency Profession Development at the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency of the Republic of Serbia (BSA) since 2019. Her responsibilities include coordinating the supervision of licensed insolvency practitioners, overseeing activities related to the development of the insolvency profession through continuous professional education, and contributing to the improvement of the regulatory framework.
Jelena joined the Bankruptcy Centre of the Serbian Privatization Agency in 2005, where she was involved in insolvency proceedings of socially-owned companies. In 2008, she joined the BSA, where she held several positions, including Supervisor and Assistant Director for Supervision, before being appointed Director of the Centre in 2019.
As a member of the BSA team, Jelena has contributed to the preparation of insolvency legislation and secondary legislation, as well as to various working groups on insolvency-related matters.
She has extensive experience in international cooperation and has participated in various projects and activities with international organizations and professional associations, focusing on knowledge exchange and professional standards in the field of insolvency.
