Case examples: 
Acted for the creditor in the successful case of Re Margaretta Limited; Freeman v Customs and Excise Commissioners [2005] All ER (D) 262 in which it was held that monies paid to a third party to be held for the purposes of paying VAT was held in a Quistclose Trust which could be enforced by HMCE when the conditions for Vat payment arose. in Re CRHS (2007) unreported in which it was held that an administrator had power to petition for compulsory winding up of a company.  

Acted for the trustee in bankruptcy in the case of Re Hemming (deceased) [2009] 2 WLR 1257 in which it was held that the trustee in bankruptcy as a beneficiary of a probate estate had the right not only to the estate being administered in accordance with the will but also the proceeds of that administration.       

Notable positions: Sat on the R3 Education, Courses and Conferences Committee and is now a member of the R3 General Technical Committee. A member of the Insolvency Lawyer Association, London Solicitors Litigation Association and the International Bar Association  

Other notable achievements: A very regular speaker on course for R3 on both personal and corporate insolvency.  A contributor to various publications including Recovery Magazine and R3 Technical Bulletin.
