Jithesh John - Executive Director, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India

Jithesh John joined the Indian Economic Service (IES) of Government of India in 2001 and currently serves as Executive Director at the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI). In this role, he oversees matters related to insolvency resolution, liquidation, individual insolvency and bankruptcy processes.

With over 25 years of service in the Government of India, Mr. John has held positions across several ministries in the Government of India, including the Ministry of Power, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Planning Commission. He had played a significant role in the establishment of the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) at GIFT City, Gujarat, India.

Mr. John is a frequent speaker at professional forums and has a keen interest in financial regulation and public policy. He has also served on the boards of two public sector companies.
