Kwang Ian Leong, Official Assignee, Official Receiver and Public Trustee, Insolvency and Public Trustee’s Office Singapore

Kwang Ian was appointed Singapore’s Official Assignee, Official Receiver and Public Trustee in June 2026. He has served in the Singapore Public Service since 2000, helming legal teams in the Singapore Home Affairs Ministry, as well as the Ministry of Defence. He was also previously the Director of Legal Policy in the Ministry of Law. In these portfolios, he has worked closely with policy teams in regulation making, including the planning for and engagement of various stakeholders across different industries.
