Amanda Tan – Deputy Director (Corporate Insolvency Division), Ministry of Law, Insolvency Office, Singapore

Amanda is part of the team that launched the Simplified Insolvency Programme (“SIP”) in January 2021 and conceptualised its revamp. The SIP aims to assist micro and small companies restructure their debts or wind up in a lower cost and more efficient manner.

Amanda joined the Insolvency & Public Trustee’s Office in 2013 and worked in the administration of Individual Insolvency and Debt Repayment Scheme matters before her move to Corporate Insolvency in 2021. Prior to that, she was a financial auditor at Ernst & Young Singapore. Amanda is a Chartered Accountant, and a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
