Conor O'Mahony has been the Head of the Insolvency Unit in the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement ('ODCE') for more than 10 years.  The Unit is responsible for discharging the Office's responsibilities under company law in respect of insolvent companies including the supervision of liquidators, assessing directors' conduct in relation to insolvent companies and sanctioning fraudulent or other breaches of company law arising in connection with such companies.    He previously headed up the Small and Medium Enterprise Policy Unit in the Department and before that worked in the Department of Finance and the Revenue Commissioners. Conor is also a director of the Irish Auditing and Accounting Supervisory Authority and is chairperson of its Audit and Risk Committee.
