IAIR Workshops

Four IAIR Insolvency Workshops have been held so far, in -

Vancouver, Canada - June 2009
Bucharest, Romania - September 2006
Cape Town, South Africa - March 2007
Belgrade, Serbia - May 2007

These Workshops are held for the benefit of non member government agencies who might be interested in the work of IAIR and provide the opportunity for government officials to discuss developments in their insolvency frameworks: it also provides the opportunity for the IAIR to continue to develop a wider picture of regulation, contributing to its work with the World Bank on Regulatory Frameworks. Existing IAIR member agencies are also invited to attend to share their experience. There is no charge for attendance: lunch and morning and afternoon coffee/tea will be provided.

IAIR Projects

IAIR membership or attendance as an observer at its Conferences provides the opportunity to contribute to wide ranging discussions on topical insolvency policy and practice issues, and share experience with fellow government experts from other jurisdictions. It also provides the opportunity to contribute to, and draw from, studies of subject areas that have been identified as of particular interest to members and their governments and the wider international insolvency community.
